Today’s episode is called “Senior Judge A. Howard Matz to Offer Access To Justice.” A.K.A. How To get In-justice from Judge A. Howard Matz. It begins with a headline across the wire from an obscure online news station, page 3. Just the way Matz likes his witnesses, buried deep.
“Senior Judge A. Howard Matz to Retire From Central District Court.”
Senior Judge A. Howard Matz will retire from the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, effective April 1, 2013. And this is no April Fools joke. One can only hope and pray.
Tucked away on page 3 of an obscure online newspaper, HizzzzOdor A. Howard Matz prepares to slink away and hide his criminal and judicial corruption. Credited with numerous cases of ILLEGAL sentences, unconstitutional rulings, and most recently utilizing the U.S. Marshal’s office like his own personal gestapo, Judge A. Howard Matz will leave just shy of being the most corrupted judge in America.
Of course the disinformation machine is now in high gear and will tell you how wonderful Judge Matz is, all the while leaving out a mention of his crimes, corruption and multiple ILLEGAL sentences he handed out. You can get the “true” story behind Judge Matz below, before he prepares to slink away and hide his criminal corruption.
Matz is quoted as stating he,
intends to remain active in supporting the work of the court and of courts in general, especially where it concerns access to justice for self-represented litigants.
That statement is ironic seeing as part of his judicial corruption he actually advised a defendant, in a criminal case before him, that it would be “a prudent thing to represent yourself.” Such an advisement from a District Court judge is unheard of in the history of the U.S. courts. But this is just one of many incompetent things Judge Matz has stated over the years. When the defendant in that criminal case did not buy Judge Matz’ BS, Matz took away the defendant’s public defender claiming it was in the defendant’s best interest!
One of the rare competent things Judge Matz did tell this author is that,
The law is pretty clear and I did not follow it.
Listed in the article under, Noteworthy Cases the obscure article of disinformation goes on to say,
During his time on the bench, Matz presided over numerous noteworthy cases, several of which were ultimately adjudicated by the Supreme Court. In 2002 he became the first judge in the country to rule on challenges to the detention of alleged terrorists at Guantanamo Bay
What they don’t share and tell you is addressing Judge Howard Matz’ notorious rulings towards the Guantanamo detainees, Judge Napolitano wrote, “Judge Howard Matz – the same judge who came up with the “not welcome” ruling – again dismissed the action, finding another means of circumventing the Constitution in order to allow the government to violate the Camp Delta detainees’ due process protections.”
As former Fox News Analyst, Judge Andrew Napolitano pointed out in his book, Central District Judge Matz did nothing “to defend the Constitution rather than sit back and let the government have unlimited wartime powers.” The Supreme Court overturned Matz’ decision, ruling that Guantanamo detainees were guaranteed habeas corpus due process rights and were entitled to their day in federal court.
Matz, in the obscure article brags that no case he has overseen, however, has been more important than Katie A. v. Bontá, a class-action in which advocates sought to improve the provision of mental health and supportive services for children and youth in, or at imminent risk of placement in foster care in California.
What they don’t share and tell you is:
Judge Matz doesn’t really care about anyone’s mental health. Or the laws regarding mental health. It is vital you get that concept. Imminent risk of placement in a mental facility never slowed Matz down, or his illegal rulings. His friend Kozinski took care of that cover up. It is just more public relations fluff and disinformation to try to hide his criminal acts and corruption.
Judge Matz also cites as one of his proudest accomplishments the reduction of his case load from hundreds of cases when he ‘assumed’ senior status, and says that he is leaving “very few” that his colleagues will need to handle.
By few, ummm, does Judge Matz mean like this one below he botched recently through one of his MANY erroneously conclusions?? How many other are out there where he failed to do his job requiring a “rigorous analysis” of vital facts or law?
Judge Matz is just plain ol’ incompetent.
We have jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1292, and we vacate the class certification order. We hold that Judge Matz erred because he erroneously concluded that California law could be applied to the entire nationwide class, and because he erroneously concluded that all consumers who purchased or lease the Acura RL can be presumed to have relied on defendant’s advertisements…
I think he means colleagues like Senior Appeals Judge Alex Kozinski and his former law office partner, and disgraced ex U.S. Attorney, Debra Wong Yang.
Oh yeah, Matz is definitely leaving something behind for them to handle.
And then some.
The obscure page 3 notice of Judge Matz’ sudden and not so imminent or surprising retirement goes on to say, “Matz also served on many judicial committees, including the Ninth Circuit Model Jury Instructions Committee.” What they don’t tell you is Judge Matz ignores and breaks the very rules he and Matz’ buddy Alex Kozinski wrote on the Ninth Circuit Model Jury Instructions Committee.
Prior to his appointment as district judge, Matz was a partner in the law firm of Bird, Marella, Boxer, Wolpert & Matz from 1983 to 1998. Matz was also an assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, and served as chief of the Special Prosecutions Unit from 1977 to 1979. Wow. That sounds complex.
The article of disinformation says Matz received his undergraduate degree at Columbia University in 1965, and his law degree from Harvard Law School in 1968. Really? Harvard? Has anyone verified this with Harvard Law School??
The article closes by stating,
The chief judge said in a statement:
Judge Matz has been a well-respected, very knowledgeable member of the Court for nearly 15 years, and he will be greatly missed by his colleagues and the bar. He leaves behind a valuable legacy, not only of his many significant decisions on the bench, but also of his steadfast commitment to ensuring equal justice under law through the establishment of Pro Se Clinics in each of our Court’s three divisions.
Equal justice? This author is not buying a word of that. Judge A. Howard Matz is all about special interests cloaked as justice.
Judge Matz is known for going to any lengths to conceal his judicial conduct from the public. I think he needs to be examined and sent off for the treatment. We can discuss his restoration in the next chapter.
Don’t be scared of al-Qaeda, be scared of al-Kozinski & especially al-Matz. He is an imminent danger to himself and a danger to others in the public.
